The Problem of Vector-Borne Diseases

Anaplasmosis, Lyme disease, and ehrlichiosis are tick-borne diseases that can cause severe symptoms in dogs, such as fever, joint pain, and organ damage. Because these symptoms are often nonspecific, early diagnosis is difficult, which increases the risk of serious complications such as kidney or joint damage. A screening test provides rapid, cost-effective detection of the pathogens.
