Fassisi® GiaCPE
Use the Fassisi® GiaCPE to determine within 10 minutes whether a secondary infection is causing persistent diarrhea.
The test is intended for acute diagnosis and, in particular, for monitoring the course of the disease. As a rapid on-site test, it allows for the immediate initiation of targeted treatment. This cost-effective test is used for the reliable detection of Giardia and secondary infection with Clostridium perfringens enterotoxin, both in acute diagnostics and screening as well as in monitoring the course of the disease.

Clostridium perfringens is part of the natural intestinal flora; however, during times of stress or in the presence of infections such as giardia, it can severely disrupt the intestinal flora and even produce toxins, which can lead to persistent diarrhea.
A rapid diagnosis allows for the immediate initiation of specific treatment measures.
