Fassisi® GiaCPE MPX
The Fassisi® GiaCPE MPX enables the simultaneous detection of Giardia duodenalis and Clostridium perfringens enterotoxin in the feces of dogs and cats using just one sample in as little as 10 minutes.
The Fassisi® GiaCPE MPX tests for the presence of two common causes of diarrhea and simultaneously detects whether a secondary infection is present that is causing persistent diarrhea.
This cost-effective, on-site single-test is suitable for acute diagnosis and, in particular, for monitoring the course of the disease. As a rapid test, it allows for the immediate initiation of targeted treatment.

Clostridium perfringens is part of the natural intestinal flora; however, during times of stress or concurrent infections—such as with Giardia—it can disrupt the intestinal balance and produce toxic substances that often lead to persistent diarrhea.
A rapid diagnosis allows for the immediate initiation of specific treatment measures.
