The Fassisi® BoTick reliably detects Borrelia bacteria (B. garinii, B. afzelii, B. burgdorferi sensu stricto, B. spielmanii) in ticks within 10 minutes.


This cost-effective rapid test serves as a diagnostic tool to determine whether the tick being tested carried Borrelia bacteria and whether treatment of the animal should be initiated. If the result is positive, the test raises awareness of the importance of detecting potential Borrelia infections early, so that appropriate measures can be taken quickly in cases of unclear symptoms.
